Starting Over

Well, here I am again. Unbelievably, it's been a year since I last posted here; and my life has completely changed.

I'm now divorced and starting my life over once again......but hopeful about my future, and actually looking forward to the holidays once again!

Although I'm working again, I'm still determined to continue with my jewelry making and start promoting it more (in hopes of making some sales for a change). Who knows, I may actually get back to painting after many years, too.

I still have my etsy shops filled with jewelry. Some of my vintage items from the 1940's and 1950's may be added soon, so I hope everyone will continue to check out my listings.

Christmas is coming!!! I have excellent prices and am always happy to get custom orders.

Finally - a new post

I've finally returned to add a new post. Thanks to all those who have visited me over the past 6 months. Although sales of my jewelry have been slow, with the holiday season quickly approaching, I remain hopeful.

In the next few weeks, I will be adding to my holiday jewelry selection. There will be bracelets, earrings and a wire-wrapped pendant that I know will be my favorite (and hopefully yours).

Since chainmaille has become my favorite artistic medium, please also check out my new blog at http://blackrosechainmaille.blogspot.com/ and my etsy shop by the same name. Here is a sample of my work.

You've Got To Get This - REALLY!!!

I am so excited about this product that I can't contain myself! And if you knew me, you would know that I don't get excited about much and am a REAL skeptic about most everything.

If you're interested in maintaining and/or improving your health, this is THE product! This great-tasting fruit drink contains more antioxidants and phytonutrients than anything I've ever seen. I'm a terrible pill-taker and my eating habits are really bad. After only 3 days of drinking MonaVie I have no more morning backache and stiffness, more enegy than I've had for years, and my metabolism has increased. People I personally know have been able to rid themselves of medication for pain, and reduced their cholesterol and sugar levels.

The signature ingredient of this wonderful juice is the Acai berry (which has been making headlines for a while now) and is combined with 18 other fruits.

AND, in addition to all of the health benefits to you, if you want a business opportunity that will WOW you, well, just check it out for yourself at http://monavie.com. For only $39.00 you can enjoy the benefits of being part of the MonaVie community, purchase your MonaVie by the bottle, by the case or in bulk (at super discounts) and then tell all your friends and family about its healthful benefits. When you register, please register with my I.D. #322457. If at any time you don't want to order, just click on your MonaVie member's page and that's it. But I know once you start drinking just 1-2 ounces a day, you'll want to be drinking a big glass (which you can). It tastes great.

Yes, I'm sure you're skeptical. That's good. The more skeptical you are, the better proponent you'll be once you've tried this.

Please don't miss out. I am so sorry we didn't get this sooner when we were introduced to the product in November, 2006. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

To put it in MonaVie's words - DRINK IT, FEEL IT, SHARE IT.

Happy Day After St. Pdaddy

I hope everyone had a fun St. Patrick's Day! I was surprised and honored to be featured in 2 different Treasuries yesterday.

Since I've been looking for a job, my time to make new jewelry has been rather limited, but I have been able to do 2 new listings. Yesterday I finished and listed this byzantine chainmaille bracelet which I'm quite proud of. Today I will be working on a new chained jade pendant.

Other than my etsy shop

Although my main passion is my jewelry, I also have a store at www.HiBidder.com and my owner website (see my links) where I sell lots of other things (non-handmade). Right now I have some really cute Easter items for the kids at HiBidder - animated bunnies, ducks, chicks, etc. and lots of American Greetings scrapbooking stickers. I also have an assortment of stickers for St. Patrick's Day.

At HiBidder I also sell retired Corelle replacement pieces, vintage glassware and other assorted items. Please check out my listings. I am more than happy to combine shipping between my sites.

My website is primarily American Greetings greeting cards, note cards and gift bags for all occasions at half the retail price. Since this site is relatively new, if you have any problems with a purchase or payment there, let me know so that I can try to remedy the problem.

My newest etsy listing.

Well, I just finished this bracelet (finally) last night and got it listed today. I'm pleased with the result. When I found these cool bone spacers it took the longest time to decide how to use them. The European 4 in 1 chainmaille proved to be just the thing.
Copper is one of my favorite things - all things copper. And chainmaille has become a real passion with me, although I'm still just a beginner. It does take a lot of patience, but there are so many ways to combine the different weaves with beads and pendants that it's worth the time. Stop by my etsy shop and have a look at my other copper and chainmaile items.

My 4-legged babies

Well, as promised I'm posting pics of all 4 of our babies. All are rescued strays. The oldest is Paws (black and white longhair) at 9-1/2 years old, then Garfield (the tabby of course) at almost 9 years old, and our 2 newest additions Junior (white and black longhair) at 1-1/2 years old, and last but certainly not least Isis (my only girl - black and white shorthair) at a little over 1 year old.

Each one has a very unique personality (just like people). They love spending time on our screen porch watching the squirrels and birds. All of them are loved and pampered.
